13th January Has Been All About The Archaeology

Today has been interesting as there has been some archaeology found. It started with a small medieval tile yesterday and then a bit more today. There's a stone support for what was probably part of the garden landscaping and in another trench an exciting find of a stone wall from either the original cloister or one of its out buildings. Other than that, just a few fragments of bone. These are recorded, will be protected, reburied and then covered over.
